Applied to: developers, O&M engineers, and security engineers. New feature: The Syslog plug-in is added in Logtail, a log collection client provided by Log Service. On the ECS instance, you can configure the IP address and the port to listen on by using the plug-in. The plug-in parses the syslog data forwarded by a syslog agent such as rsyslog using TCP or UDP. The parsing process is based on the specified syslog standards (supports RFC5424 and RFC3164) to read the following fields in a log: facility, tag (program), severity, and content.
