Elastic Compute Service (ECS)System events occur when Subscription instances expire and Pay-As-You-Go instances have overdue payments. For these events, administrators need to resolve these issues immediately to avoid disruption to business.

Billing related notifications are sent to the contact person of the account. If the contact person is an employee of procurement, finance, or IT management departments, administrators may miss these events. In this case, unexpected interruption to instance services may cause financial losses. For events triggered by expiration and overdue payments, administrators need to resolve these events immediately in the Management Console or using the API. This ensures the business continuity.
