Target customers: enterprise-level customers who use big data instances with local disks. Features released: The ECS API is used to handle system events. In situations where affected instances do not need to be migrated, you can use the ECS console or API to restart the instances for isolating local disks that have been damaged. Alibaba Cloud will immediately replace damaged local disks after they are isolated. After maintenance, Alibaba Cloud will send system event notifications regarding the restarting of instances and replacement of damaged local disks. You can call the ECS API to handle the system events and restart the instances to attach new local disks to the instances.
