ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL

ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL 5.7 High-availability Edition instances based on local SSDs can now be upgraded to Enterprise Edition.

Target customers: users of ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL 5.7 High-availability Edition instances based on local SSDs, especially those requiring an RPO of 0. Features released: ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL 5.7 allows you to upgrade from High-availability Edition to Enterprise Edition with the storage type of local SSDs. Enterprise Edition based on three zones can achieve zero data loss and 99.99% availability. The one-click upgrade operation may take a while to complete depending on how much data is on the instance, but takes less than 30 seconds to switch. Make sure that your applications are configured with database reconnection policies, and properly schedule the switching time.
