Target customers: ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL users who require data encryption in scenarios such as customer information systems and customer financial systems. Features released: TDE implements real-time I/O encryption and decryption on data files. Data is encrypted before it is written to disks, and decrypted before it is read from disks to the memory. TDE does not increase the sizes of data files. To use TDE, you only need to enable this feature for an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance, instead of modifying the application that uses the instance. This release supports TDE for 8.0 on High-availability Edition with local SSDs.
