This feature provides a unified read/write splitting endpoint to facilitate O&M and business architecture expansion based on existing connections. To expand the business architecture for read requests, you need to only add read-only instances to proxy terminals. 1. After you enable the database proxy feature, read/write splitting can be implemented without performing O&M operations on applications. 2. Up to 32 read-only instances can be added to a maximum of seven proxy terminals. It greatly expands the business scope of primary instances. 3. To meet the requirements of different business scenarios, instances can handle requests in read/write mode or read-only mode. 4. Instances can be configured with system-assigned read weights or custom read weights. It is suitable for different business throughput scenarios. 5. Read-only instances can be purchased at lower costs to implement read/write splitting and increase efficiency.
