When an instance is suspended, you are charged only for the storage resources. This feature is suitable for the following scenarios: 1. Regular fluctuation in workloads: When workloads are high, Serverless instances can be started to provide services. When workloads are low, Serverless instances can be suspended. This can significantly reduce costs. 2. Periodic archiving of data: Serverless instances can be started and suspended by means of APIs. They can be suspended immediately after archiving is complete, and can be used for computing only occasionally during analysis and archiving. This can lead to nearly 80% cost savings. 3. Low-cost POC testing: With the ability to start and suspend Serverless instances on demand, users no longer need to frequently release instances during the testing process. As a result, POC costs can be reduced by more than 80%. If users repeatedly perform test runs on Serverless instances within a test cycle, the instances can be suspended at the end of each test to simplify the initialization process and improve POC efficiency.
