Feature released: With the BYOK feature, you can import keys from a self-created key management system to the Alibaba Cloud. Integration of cloud services and self-created applications with Alibaba Cloud's key management service empowers you to better control your keys and to meet a wider range of use cases and compliance requirements. BYOK provides control over key generation, enabling enhanced key life cycle management and more autonomous management of key persistence. Target customers: 1. Enterprises customers having a strong demand for key management compliance, such as those who want to rent their own managed keys to Alibaba Cloud for short-term or regular use or who hope that the generated keys can address occasional needs. 2. Customers who need to use the same keys for on-cloud and on-premises application systems so as to ensure data security and thus seamless integration between on-cloud and on-premises applications.
